Interesting list of SAINTS for sale

http://www.collectorscorner.com/Cate...+Gaudens+%2420

Boy have they really GONE up since 1999. And GOLD has just went up four times...

I wonder how much they'll be when gold hits 20 or 30 or 40 times - :111:depending upon HOW much this incompetent :marchmellADMINISTRATION adds to the money supply.

GOLD and SILVER smell that INFLATION - and if they pull the plug that extreme will really be interesting - for the GOLDEN CONSTANT - 500 years of gold history in America and Great Britian - Jastram's BOOK!

I'm getting the urge to pick one of these up. Your continued encouragement on here isn't helping with my restraint. I want one but think that adding more silver bullion may be a better play over the next 2 years.

Silver in your total portfolio should (probably) copy the holdings at the Central fund of Canada (whom I consider - IMVHO - the best in the business)
CEF on the stock market - who hold 50 ounces of SILVER to every ounce of gold - BAR NONE. I do like a TEMPLATE for some reason....:emotions16:

Do your addition inventory calculate re-check - and obtain in that 50 to 1 ratio. IMVHO.

That gives you 30 ounces of silver to TRADE off for ANYTHINg...

GET it? ANYTHING....

Thanks for this.

In my 20 years of rare coin and precious metals experience I have written a number of investment letters. Some better than others, but this particular letter is easily the most important. It goes to the front of the line because there are strongly evident investment fundamentals which all focus on one particular gold coin. I can't remember a better situation bringing together the right coin at the right time. Now add two important extras: First this coin is backed by a gold market ready to once again explode. And second, a popular book written by well known author David Bowers provides added insight into why the $20 gold piece holds a unique place in rare coin investing.

The coin I'm talking about is America's $20 Saint Gaudens gold piece minted from 1907 through 1933. Few collectors and investors realize that almost without exception this coin already ranks among their first choices. It's a natural first choice when you consider that the $20 gold piece not only stood for wealth, it defined wealth since the Civil War. Most everyone owns them, or wants to own them because they have the broadest appeal of any coin ever issued by our government. And the best part of this investment idea is that these gold coins are selling at the lowest premium ratios I have seen in years!
Quote:

I have analyzed, plotted and condensed the price performance of the $20 Saint Gaudens in three separate phases to better illustrate this money-making plan:

The absurd increase in value documented in 1978 through 1980. Believe me this investment time frame provides impressive evidence of how investors turned crisis into profits as these gold coins moved higher and then doubled in price. This period exceeded even my wildest expectations.
From the market bottom in 1982 through 1985. A time frame that clearly illustrates the rock-solid value offered by the Saint Gaudens in MS-64 and MS-65.
And finally from 1986 to the present date. This is the most advantageous time frame for today's investor because it focuses on true independent 3rd party grading. Since 1986 the condition of a coin, and therefore its value, has been defined by PCGS (The Professional Coin Grading Service). This final phase is the most dynamic because the independent grading of this coin puts today's investor in the driver's seat. When the fixed supply meets rising public demand we believe even dealers will be amazed at the rapid acceleration in prices.
What I'm about to say is surprising for even I didn't realize it until after I studied the charts. I believe now is the time to exploit a glaring fact that seems to be overlooked by virtually every writer: The prices for the $20 Saint Gaudens in PCGS MS-64 and MS-65 are compressed like a coiled spring. Ready for a giant move upward as gold moves to its next higher trading region.
